TANZANIA
POLICIES & EDUCATIONAL DIRECTION
Established in 2008, the Ministry of Education, Science and Technology (MoEST) is the government ministry that is responsible for determining the policies and direction of the higher education system in Tanzania.
Our consultants and strategic partner institution (Seneca College) designed and led a long-term project (2017-2018) to build the capacity of Tanzanian technical and vocational training institutions to deliver relevant skills training programs and support economic opportunities across various sectors. The project was funded and administered by Global Affairs Canada and CICan.
The project reached a total of 70 (female and male) Tanzanian leaders and managers in the post-secondary space. Additionally, our team of experts and in-the-field consultants developed and incorporated a series of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), related toolkits, and processes into Tanzania’s Ministry of Education information system, ultimately improving the quality and relevancy of the TVET ecosystem.
